The Nasdaq probably has a lot further to fall, but once something is down about 50% I would rather not gamble by shorting it further.

I think that is sound thinking given the stock buying craze we just lived through. It was not long ago that individual stocks were rising 20% a day.

It was interesting to see eToys yesterday. Although the stock had already fallen from the mid-$80's to around $1, it still managed to fall 75% to 25 cents a share, yesterday. Imagine getting into a stock after it has fallen about 98.8% only to lose 75% of your investment in one day! You just never know what is going to happen.
