Hmmm.. that's interesting.

"Internet Explorer 5.0
Go to the "Tools" menu, and choose "Internet Options"
From here, choose the "Advanced" tab at the top. Scroll down and make sure the following three boxes have been checked. "Java Logging Enabled" "Java Console Enabled" and "Java Compiler""

I'm using Win 98 and IE 5.0 and had not a bad day (comparatively speaking) with Livecharts, but I only have the JIT compiler for advanced machines enabled not the other 2.

It stalled a few times, but I recovered it with a "Refresh" each time. Data recovered immediately. Seems to stall when I am inactive for a time.

How about everyone else?

I realize that this service changed to Intel/Microsoft for the server farm architecture, but wouldn't the long term health of your business look brighter with a UNIX infrastructure?

You'd also be less exposed to the problems inherent in supporting a customer base that uses a mind boggling combination of end user operating systems and browser versions and brands. Win 2000 server edition doesn't deal well with this scenario. That is why enterprise customers enforce desktop standards on their users. You don't have that luxury.

Obviously someone's career, and your bottom line would suffer from a switch back to a real time infrastructure.

In the long run it may be the only way to recover some semblance of customer satisfaction, and more importantly to allow your promising software offering to flourish in a nice stable environment.

Qlink Problem:...
I am using qlink to download data into a excel spreadsheet. When I download using the bar wizard set to get 789 lines or less it works fine. When I increase it to 790 lines it fails giving me a spreadsheet full of #na instead of data. Anyone seen this?

Thanks Duane, I have followed these instructions and I can now get delayed LiveCharts. However, when I log in and try to get real time LiveCharts I just get a grey panel where the chart should be.

<<If you give us the standard "no comment" or don't bother to comment, I would have to assume the worst. >>

I take it we have our answer.

May I make a suggestion? Offer QC as a service to test the grey scale of monitors, because at this point anything above that is a stretch from reality.

Waiting for the "we had LIGHT queing on some of the servers this morning."

No charts YET AGAIN on boston and herndon servers. When is this abysmal performance going to improve? And why is Boston not performing up to snuff? Every day at the opening, I waste time that should be focused on trading stuggling to find a functioning server.

Can you please list, on a daily basis prior to the opening, fully functioning servers?

Server Jammed -- No charts -- no options ETC

I just don't believe it -- Every morning you have problems with your server -- when it is not all day.

When are you going to give the service every customer is entitled to receive?

If you can't give -- say it out and we'll try to find an alternative!

I'm really sick and tired of your recurring problems.
