No technical or fundamental basis for buying the close.> Well, future fundamentals stink. Until effects of rate cuts get into companies, they will stink. Technicals will look better before fundamentals will, IMO. If you "need" to buy anything today, buy what is up or at higher lows from the 11/30. The "need" to trade is still in too many people. Scary thoughts enter my head that this will be a major recession, lasting 3-4 years. People will not be reading SI in 3-4 years, if true.
