We have not advanced our conversation to the level of parsing such eloquent prose -- we are still figuring out if either of us knows how to count on our fingers -- so far the jury is out.

HJM:'Now be serious for a moment".

1. What happened? We've been ROBBED.

2. What now?

o The poor/not so fluent were sucked in and now are either
broke or no more gambling money.

o The rich/smart/affluent lost some paper profit and still
have plenty of money.

o The smart money is waiting on the sideline for another
moment in history to rob publicly and legally thru their
smart.

o The smart money would not release their new found fortune
and exchange among themselves.

o AG need to keep the economy afloat. At this time, everyone
has job, so AG is not eager to add to the 'smart money'
pool.

o We are on drug and will not take the low-paying high-tech
job, give it to the immigrants (the new high-tech kind).

o We want to keep the high-paying jobs for American, eg:
day-trading, investing for quick-bucks, the VIOLENT
reward.

o The smart/affluent will just wait for more liquidity to
be pumped in.

o It finally looks like Japan. The rich still rich although
the paper profit is gone. They still drive Mercedes, BMW,
and owned most of the buildings. The poor (not so smart/
affluent) can't afford to sell the houses (after 10+
years!!!), no new money to invest.

AG, do you see the problem if you don't add more 'hard-cold
-cash', not the 'operating kind'.

HJ: The best thing in the world that could happen to me is for IBM to warn before the bell tomorrow -- could I ever be that lucky?
