Hi Jim.

It would also be hidden in each little purchase and the crooks would end up getting even more money because the taxpayer would lose track of what government is REALLY costing them. That is my only problem with a value added or sales tax. If you buy a 5 dollar item and it has a 25 cent natl sale tax are you going to add all the tickets up at the end of the year and say "Hey I am paying them too much in taxes"?
