Not to pursue the topic, but the U.S. GDP numbers are just a tad "fluffed up" (I know you are up to speed on those arcane, incestuous stats). Also, plenty of the GDP has been a "build-for-inventory". Yuk.

That aside, I worry over the fact that most of the funds and an even greater percentage of the public have been trapped in the tech stocks (recall how massively over-owned and over-loved they have been) and are in the process of having their financial heads handed to them. The damage isn't public knowledge yet, but as it becomes more visible, I think most will come to recognize that a terrible wound has been inflicted,.... one that in my view may well defy treatment.

Hope I am wrong, but the figures keep screaming "depr.....".

Sure hope that I am proven wrong on this.
