Ones that move, regardless of up or down, and have the GUTS to admit whether it was a good call or bad." You're kidding right? You have to be kidding...or else you must have me on ignore or something. I was a cheerleader when this market was rallying, and I was probably one of the first to tell you when this market was toast, and more than just a dip. I wish I had a dollar for all the calls I have made on SI....good or bad. I could probably retire. if you had thrown a little money at all the calls I have made, you could retire as well. Most of you guys like to live a lot more dangerously than I do. You play dangerous highly overvalued stocks. The reason you play them is because they make the nice intraday moves. (and sometimes I have serious reservations about the fundamental research abilities of some folks around here.) Ya know what my problem is....I think I spend way too much time preaching the gospel to a bunch of daytraders. I'm hanging out in the wrong crowd I guess. When I plunk down my money on a ticker symbol, I like to be able to sleep that night. To date, I have probably owned over 3000 stocks, and I have never, ever, ever, owned one that warned and got hurt for it. In fact, the only stock I ever owned that warned while I was holding it was UTCC, and it went up 50% within a month...never did tank. And I took my 50% The better bet for CFLO would have been to start whacking it with short sales on the rally. If I were interested in playing the stock, that is exactly what I would have done. I mean, where exactly did you think CFLO was gonna go? You sold it at 41 and change....made money....and you are still one up on the stock....it is trading lower than that now...what??, a week and 1/2 later? What was your target anyway? What are you so uptight about? You could have followed my advice and shorted it at 50,60,70,80, and you would be up your 20-40 points either way. You would have probably jumped ship at 45 as soon as it pulled back 1/2 point and then watched it go without you anyway. I find it disturbing that you would dare to blame me for your lost opportunity. You pulled the trigger, you traded it your way. I thought we all understood that's the way it's done around here. We are responsible for our own trades. Have you ever heard me bitch you out about a bad call? I made my call to you...and I stand behind it. It takes a few weeks to months for my calls to come around sometimes, but I've been hitting them pretty good Kevin. I can't often tell you what a stock is going to do today, or next week. (is there anyone here that can? Please speak up so I can bookmark you) But if you want an idea of where a stock might be in 3 months to a year, I might be your man. And if I share a pick with you and you want to know my feelings a few days/weeks/months later....all you have to do is ask. Do a little history check. Your post is way off base and it is totally insulting Kevin. If you feel my posting is hampering your ability to make money in this market, then you should stop reading them. I wouldn't hold that against you. I just want to see you and the rest of my freinds around here make money....or at least avoid losing what you have. That's all that matters bud.
