I think you need to take note of the fact that we have been making lower highs and lower lows for months now...All rallies should will be sold...they are just little bumps in a long down trend...

I don't follow charts but I can see how one can make a TA case.
You may be right in some sectors...in the old economy.
Communications has too far to go. Many companies in the broadband buildout say that we are in the early innings. Tech will be the sector that survives in the long run.

That is why I am waiting for the chance to load up on the high growth stocks. Planning on taking advantage of tax loss selling.

Overall, a diversified approach is the best one going into the new year. The market has changed this year for tech. However, I expect an early year reversal in the Nasdaq as mutual funds move to beaten up stocks. They don't want to do it before year end because they don't want it to show up in their annual reports.
