RE:"Tobacco stocks are at all time highs.
SO are Oil stocks and drugs and military guys like Boeing.
The dow is close to an all time high - within 10% or so (and if you exclude MSFT, INTC in Dow its doing very well).
So if you are in the above segments you are doing very well.
If you are in high tech you are wrecked - due to bush effect."

Most everything peaked in March or May. Well back in the Clinton time zone. I guess it knew then Bush would be elected? <G> Sure Kash...

Tobacco and Booze do well in depressions. Oil had been rising for 6 months prior to March. With no Clinton energy policy to counter OPEC...

Kash,

If you are in high tech you are wrecked - due to bush effect.

I think you are losing it. Please look at this 1 year chart of Nasdaq: finance.yahoo.com^IXIC&d=1y

Nasdaq peaked on March 10th at 5132 and it went as low as 3042 in May. We have been going 1 step up 2 steps down ever since.

I think your hate for W is blinding you to the point that you are ignoring facts. Let's evaluate Bush 2, 4, 6, 8 years into his presidency.
