MSFT, CSCO, SUNW and YHOO all hit 52-week lows today....IMO, we are very near the bottom...;-)

Tom,

Last time the NAZ was this low was Aug 10th 1999.....
We've puked up the gains from the last year & a half...
Many of these companies have experienced incredible growth since then....
many continue to have bright futures....
go figure.

The NAZ has gone down for 6 straight sessions.....
in that time the NAZ shed 503.4 points.....
Some stocks got plastered today.......
me thinks there will be some serious margin selling tomorrow too....
a good deal will be forced selling IMO.....

I'm sure I'm not the only one on margin that was thinking we were near the bottom.

Look at the DOW & S&P 500......
you'd think the Fed had been easing since Oct the way they've held up in here......
they sure do sport some seriously unjustifiable P/E's,
considering the projected forward growth for many
of these stocks, their debt load, etc.
There's a lot of stocks on the NAZ with P/E's
smaller than their forward growth rates though.....
and they're being sold off still.....

go figure.

IMO, we got some downside tomorrow.....
hopefully that sideline money & the houses step in at some point.

FWIW, I'm in a margin call..... a smallish one....
due Thurs..... but I have a bunch of EXTR.....
IMO, I need to be nimble or I'm going to take a serious hit.

Margin is a two edged sword folks. Don't try this at home.

OOF :-|
