The sense of identity is a construct of our minds created (as you noted) by children around the age of 4. I've found that when I feed this construct, it causes me to become less "spiritual" or "moral". It leads to other delusions of the mind which are even more destructive. This explains my aversion to accepting the first two tenets of your principles.
