RIMM is done soon, IMO, probably after earnings. Next year, 2001, EPS estimates = (0), zippo, zilch, nada, due to advertising costs.
And, margins are dropping on a percentage basis.
I'm going to try to pound it into the ground.

RIMM: with earnings on Thurs, it may get a tiny bounce up, but I'll be looking to add to my RIMM short if it happens.

Certain stocks just seem to have this core set of supporters who buy back in on any dips. When everything else tanked today, AMCC just wouldn't let go, just like Wile E. Coyote when pushed off a cliff....there is a moment where he hangs there with little legs pumping furiously before the little "oh no!" look and subsequent screaming drop.

Speaking of....seems to me like the best thing the market could do is mandate a 7 minute cartoon break in the middle of the trading day. It would give everyone a little time-out....and I bet the whipsawing in the market would diminish greatly. Nothing like a good chuckle to bring things back into perspective.
