"Siebel trades at 115 times expected 12-month forward earnings, according to Ghriskey, compared with a multiple of 22.1 for companies in the Standard & Poor's 500 Index".

And if all companies in the SP 500 had the same growth rate, future prospects and management, we wouldn't need to have 500 different stocks. What is the average growth rate of the SP 500? Last I heard it was in the single digits.
