Vadym: The Yahoo chess site is here:

games.yahoo.com

If you do not already have a login name and password for Yahoo, you will need to spend a few minutes to get one.

When you are logged in, click on Advanced. There, you will find 3 or 4 rooms with games being played by some of the stronger players.

While there are other chess sites with better amenities for serious players, I like the Yahoo site because I can bookmark the advanced rooms and get a casual game against a good player within moments, whenever I feel like it.

I am there at various times, but most often in the wee hours of the morning (like now, it's 3:20 AM Pacific time). I also sometimes play a leisurely game or two on the weekends.

On Yahoo, I play under the name "International_Grandmaster" -- which often creates quite a commotion, especially when I am winning! ("You're not a REAL GM!" "Yes, he is!" "No WAY!" "He IS! He beat my HIARCS 7.32 program in a 10-minute game! He MUST be a GM!" "Nahhhhh.....") *lol!*

I'm going to cruise by Yahoo right now and play a quick game or two. Please drop by the site and see how you like it, Vadym. If it looks good to you, we'll meet there sometime for a game!

Regards,
ig
