Cooperative Effort to Offer End-to-End Educational Solutions via Value-Added Resellers and System Integrators in the U.S. and Canada
LAS VEGAS, Nevada--November 15, 2000--Teleste Educational, Ltd. (HEX: TELIV), the renowned leader in the global educational market as a developer and supplier of technology enhanced solutions for learning environments, today announced during Fall COMDEX 2000 a key partnership agreement with Concurrent Computer Corporation (CCUR: NASDAQ), the leading provider of high performance computer systems, software, and servers worldwide. The cooperative effort will offer digital educational solutions via value-added resellers in the U.S. and Canada.
The agreement leverages the diversified and strong capabilities of both organizations. Concurrent will provide its video-streaming server, MediaHawk Digital Server, in concert with Teleste's software product suite, DIVACE, a digital multimedia center, and Library Pilot, a media storage and resource management system. The combined products will replace traditional tape-based media retrieval with a new level of sophistication for the rapidly emerging digital educational market.
