When I was coming up, it was a dangerous world, and you knew exactly who they were,...It was us vs. them, and it was clear who them was. Today, we are not so sure who the they are, but we know they're there.
-Dubya

This is really quite an excellent use of language. It is informal, casual and laid-back too. Yet it is clear and lucid. Everyone knows exactly who the they was and who the they is today that we don't know about.

As Bush's top national security adviser during the campaign, Rice played a variety of roles. She was his private foreign policy tutor, the person, Bush once said, who "can explain to me foreign policy matters in a way I can understand."

Seeing how Bush is surrounding himself with qualified
people, shows he isn't that stupid. A good staff makes for
a good administration. If your arguement is valid, then
Clinton wasted tax payer money by having a cabinet and
advisors, since you seem to think he knew everything there
was to know about everything. Hate to burst your bubble...
he didn't.

There will be a lot of minorities voting Republican come
2002.

There are two people to look at on each side of the
democrats and republicans. On the democrats you have
Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. Both preach hate and racism.
Both want to hold marches and preach "you're a victim, the
whites don't want you to succeed." Then you have Powell
and Rice, for the republicans who are professional people,
who are very successful, and really a class act, and decent
human beings. Their success speaks, "Yes you CAN succeed if
you try. You are NOT a victim. Race has nothing to do with
your failures." Now honestly, who do you think the people
will choose? Its like asking someone if they want a fresh
meal or something you scraped off the bottom of a garbage
can. Once they see that they can succeed, it will be
"Jesse Jackson who?" Better get busy trying to discredit
those successful "black people." Democrats losing votes
everyday.
