>>today at 7. He bought it at 120<< Well if he sells covered calls against it, he could get break even in 15 years or so if he does it just right <ggg>

Dennis, 26th huh? I don't recall my having anything around there but I will have to look again later when I have more time. I have a longer term cycle high right now but I am pretty sure we are inverted so I am hoping we are about to do a swing tradable change over the holidays which lines up with my over sold readings. I never got this longer term cycle to get really nailed down that well though so it is a loose fit. We had the shorter term NASDAQ cycle low Friday/Monday although the line hit today for some unknown reason so there is hope there as well for a late fit. Lastly, the NYSE high low chart looks like crud but the NASDAQ High Low chart has a buy signal although it is from a higher level than usual.

As I said though, TA says buy, FA says be quick and have stops ready. SE on the futures thread has an 11:30 low projected but it is a whipsaw day and he isn't sure if it is up or down at the end of the day. I just market the turn points and will play it by ear.

One last thing, I just noticed that the calls are real pricey. I wouldn't pay these prices unless they got a lot cheaper in a morning drop. At these prices, I am tempted to buy the common and sell calls. There are some hefty premiums out there.

EDIT - I just noticed the US DOllar is dropping hard in the last hour. We just went from 113.5 to 112.7 in a vertical drop. Gold isn't confirming the move yet but this may be foreign money pulling out. Futures still flat so far.

Good Luck,

Lee
