I happen to believe that late term abortion of the type that PBA opponents are so worked up about is rare, and almost always limited to extreme circumstances involving serious health concerns, and not just personal convenience -- and that suggestions to the contrary are a myth.

your eloquent debate style is fancy, do you realize you are speading a "myth" (as you call it) we used to call it lying. ...

How about this testimony, from an industry exec.

Ron Fitzsimmons, executive director of the National Coalition of Abortion Providers, admitted that he was "lying through my teeth" about public statements in 1995 that this procedure was rarely used and then only to protect the life and health of the mother. He estimates 5,000 or more partial-birth abortions are performed every year. In an article published in the March 3, 1997 issue of American Medical News, Fitzsimmons said that the vast majority of these abortions are preformed on healthy mothers with healthy fetuses in the 20-plus week range. Mr. Fitzsimmons, after speaking with doctors who performed this procedure said: "I learned right away that this was being done for the most part in cases that did not involve those extreme circumstances."

key words here are::
1. LYING THROUGH MY TEETH
2. 5000 OR MORE
3. VAST MAJORITY ON HEALTHY MOTHERS
4. HEALTHY BABIES

SO...as with 90 plus percent of abortions..healthy children killed for convenience ....my my... ain't we civilized here???

Your willingness to equate racial genocide, on the one hand, with the termination of a pregnancy, which you must
admit is a moral decision

BOTH are moral decisions. On average, there have been about
1.5 million abortions a year. Do you know that in all the
wars the USA has been in, since the Revolutionary War, the
TOTAL number of "American" deaths is LOWER than a one
year's average of abortions. It has been said, "War is
hell." Well, I guess abortion is worse than hell.
Looks like Hitler is owed an apology. After all, he killed
less people than the USA has. When you have no morals, you
can make decisions like that. Need money? Rob someone.
It just a moral decision. (Or the lack of morals.)
