The market can get values wrong on both the upside and downside.

Excellent point Huey.

This is the same market that gave Yahoo a valuation of $250 per share and CMGI a value of $263 per share less than 52 weeks ago.

That's true Huey, very true. Okay, maybe I'm wrong and SSTI's current valuation isn't forward looking - maybe the street has it wrong.

You know there are 17 million shorters of this company, but for some reason not one of them has ever come forward and made a convincing case as to what is wrong with this company. I find that very strange.

Would it be helpful if someone puts the shorters hat on and tries to put an argument forward to the thread? Is someone willing to try? Sometimes that helps to clear up questions and concerns? It could be interesting.

Regards,
Eric

Huey, does SSTI have any convertible bonds that would lead to long-term short positions as part of an arbitrage strategy? One of my former stocks (ALK) was once the most heavily-shorted stock on the NYSE for a lengthy time for this reason.

I still haven't bought back into SSTI. Every time I try to dip my toes in the water they get chewed off.

Huey,

The good news is that we are only 10 5/16 away from the absolute bottom.

This situation very much reminds me of October 1998. SNDK traded below $6 per share. (pre-split = $3.00 per share) One of the greatest buys I every made in my life at 6 and some change! Eli, Harrari (CEO) said in a conference call that the market had over reacted due to just a few slow quarters. Did that ever turn out to be an understatement. Look for an excessive high volume day and we will find the bottom. Somewhere between here and 10 points lower.

Cheer up, we are almost there!

PS can you post the link that give the 17 million share short figure. Thanks.
