DSCM may be time to re-visit, they think everythings just fine!

>>PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec 18 (Reuters) - Drugstore.com Inc (NASDAQ: DSCM) emerged from the ruins of online retailers on Monday to say it was not disappointed by holiday sales to date and has sufficient cash reserves to run into 2002.

The company said while it was not having a blowout holiday season, sales of everything from prescription medication to high-end shaving kits have been adequate. And it wants this performance to be recognised given that it is so often classified with other ill-fated online retailers, such as Pets.com Inc (NASDAQ: IPET) and eToys Inc (NASDAQ: ETYS).

"I don't think we need to worry about that," Peter Neupert, Drugstore.com's Chief Executive, told Reuters when asked about the crisis facing eToys, which last week announced that slow holiday sales meant that it would run out of cash by March.
