The only thing is this: A desire to "take advantage of a safe harbor" which is made available only when the state has resolved "all contests - judicial or otherwise" by the "deadline" for the safe harbor, is not really a deadline when a bona fide contest remains unresolved. Wanting to take advantage of a safe harbor is a lot different than making a final decision on a contest that essentially aborts the contest, decides the state's election before the contest is truly ended, and has the added effect of appointing the President of the US by judicial fiat. Especially when you have at least until 12/18, and perhaps until 12/5, to truly complete the contest.

Federalism? No, federal overreaching.
