Granted...but I wish I'd turned my "free shares" of a dozen bb stocks into $$$... DNAP is the only bb long, and that's not even bb yet, that I think will pay off in the long run...everything else is a waiting game...IMO .... If the market conditions remain the same after Bush takes office... shorting doesn't sound like a bad idea... the only part that scares me is the fact that there is no limit to the amount you can lose... but... ... the current trend seems to be in favor of the "shorters"... At this point I will take a "wait and see" attitude... In my opinion, Bush is a novice rookie, and I do not feel strongly inspired that his presence will have a very significant impact on the markets...Greenspan still appears to have the real power... ...

damn, I wish I'd been shorting a ton of stuff the last 9 months If its any consolation Jim, had you had the inclination to short, you would have begun shorting in 1999 when it was clear that these stocks were overvalued by all historical measures and when it was clear that Fed rate hikes would slow the economy down and bring these stocks down to earth. You would have been wiped out during the runup from Feb 2000 - March 2000. I bet quite a few people were. And then 2 months later the longs on margin were wiped out, lol. Hope that makes you feel better, lol. Chris
