Yep, you may be quite a ways from marking the bottom. My calculations on the H&S were in the 660 area and your were in the 630 area as I recall.

The thing that keeps creeping into my mind is - what if the technicals actually do depict the future and then events occur to make them happen? Hmmm

I was reading the banter between Lee and Berney, although I do agree with the Fed bumping the rates, I think it is obvious that since the Gov is the biggest borrower if the interest that it (the gov) has to pay is higher this would be the largest factor in inflation. Duh!

I just think that Greenspans latent access time is too large and that a response to the slow down is way too late especially in light of the dramatic increase in oil prices and now natural gas prices.
