I really don't like scalp trading; I have gotten better at it but only through experience and Level 2 which is an absolute must. You also need to know your stock's trading patterns (if any) very well as well as know some basic charting skills (a weak point of mine).

It's hard work but in this market if you do not want to short or can't short because you're trading in your IRA acct, it is the only way to go, as far as I am concerned.

That said, I do believe the NASDAQ will be over 4,000 again by at least the end of 2002... and maybe by Fall of 2001 if we get an economic turnaround after a series of rate cuts. More likely though it will be about 6 -9 months AFTER the first couple rate cuts before they start to have an effect.
