I would guess that the lack of wealth effect is going to have a rather heavy impact on the budget surplus. I know I will not be paying any gains and will have more then enough to carry over for next year. The family trust that I co-manage won't be paying any tax for a long time to come after I get through cleaning it out:(

I'm thinking the FOMC might have to step in if this continues much longer. Like I said, I don't see any catalyst for this market to do anything but sell...
