Problem is that Fed doesnt watch cnbc. I had the pleasure yesterday and you talk about self fulfilling prophecies causing a decline. The one good thing from cnbc yesterday was to see their folks puzzled by the continuation of this decline. My God, the 1970's had gas lines, a president impeached, 25% on cd's, Breznev, culminating in Iran hostages for a year. Stagflation was the watchword. This dog doesnt smell like that at all so this bottom is smelling a lot like last years ebullient top.
