Sorry for the cheap shot. Do you really really believe that the Bush tax cut tanked the market yesterday? today? Please stay in the world of reality. Everything you say is clouded by your political agenda. I agree Bush is not rocket scientist but a tax cut is necessariy for structural reasons at this point because we have gotten too far away from the Bradley(democrat) tax cut of 1986 which kept top rate at 28%, now effectively 41%. You dont see a problem with that? So whether you agree or disagree with bush, it should be on timing, scope etc. not on whether it should occur. And remember Bush takes more folks at the bottom off the rolls entirely. Scared of losing your 92-8 edge with the minorities when they see the direct benefits for them. That goes for the marriage penalty as well. What you worried about is republicans in the making down the road once we get beyond this clinton recession--he still is president you know.
