I happen to think he knows as much about GMGC and its prospects as just about anyone, and I think his observations/forecasts can be very helpful in assessing the merits of the company and its stock. But in the final analysis, you have to trust your own instincts and knowledge base on this investment just as you would any other, and then make your buy/sell/hold decision accordingly. As you know, my point of view (which can certainly be wrong) on this investment has always been long term, and that continues to be my perspective in evaluating it now. And in case you hadn't noticed, Lawrence has a lot of company . . . Wall Street analysts are significantly revising downward their revenue/earnings forecasts on just about every stock in the universe these days, pushing out their expectations for the timing of deals, pushing out the time frame for revenue ramps and profitability, and generally hunkering down into a very conservative forecasting and recommendation mode given all of the uncertainties surrounding the markets, the economy, Fed policy, etc. GMGC is not immune from these forces, and for them to experience the effects of economy-related delays in new-business commitments by potential customers (and delays in the VA rollout through no fault of their own) is certainly understandable given the macro circumstances. It could be that Lawrence now wants to be on the conservative side of the forecasting ledger, pending seeing the whites of the eyes of new-business development and OnStar/VA deployment. I'm not telling you anything new, Dave . . . You're an investment pro, and I'm sure you realize all this. If you don't think there's any future here and that they may not survive, feel free to sell your shares now . . . because you might ultimately be right, and $1.25 is better than zero. I prefer to take the other, currently less traveled road. Best regards and good luck. ea
