The problem, Skeets, is that folks do believe this crap. We are in a vast minority. When I mention this stuff to my father-in-law, for example, he looks at me as if I just announced I'm joining a cult. It doesn't register that I bring up almost the exact same information I gave him last year and also nearly two years ago. There are a lot of people that don't believe the gov't would mislead them, or double talk about SS. This same person was asking me last week how bad I was hurt by the tech wreck, citing his retirement accounts big decline -- I said virtually not at all. But as I explained some of why I knew better, he really didn't listen when it seemed to improbable (or twisted, which much of it really is). My own pop, on the other hand, loves this "conspiracy" stuff and believes it all. But he has nothing to invest and lives on SS primarily. p.s. NAZ down 54% from it's drug-induced high. It's been following that darn Nikkei curve for months... what's with that? <g & ng>
