Have no idea. Dug the original numbers up in response to a trader's question. If I have time I'll check the next year out and post.

I'll tell you off the top of my head though that I don't believe the NAS came back very quickly in the 1970's. I started in this game during the 1973-1974 stock market debacle and it has helped me greatly in recognizing manias <ggg>. Because of inflation/stagflation, energy prices, etc. the market really went nowhere during the 1970's, and started it's historic bull move in the early 1980's when interest rates cracked. Also, keep in mind that after a bull move in 1982, the techs cracked big in 1983 and did not make another move for years. Intel almost went bankrupt because they were a memory maker, and were partly saved by an infusion of capital from IBM...
