The recent market slide started November 8, 2000 when it was feared that Bush would back in.

Anybody can take a look at a chart and see for themselves, how can anyone deny it?

About this thread in general:
You guys are just a small, radical fringe even among Democrats. The 50% of voters who voted for Bush are happy.
The 50% who voted for Gore...well, not so happy maybe, but most will go along with Bush if he does a decent job. They just want to get on with their lives.

And 98% of Americans are quite happy to be done with that mess and free of the unknown dangers it presented. And they aren't going to be delighted with you radical nutcases if you revive those dangers.

But, as I said before, if you take control of Congress in 2002, go ahead with your impeachment. Please. Because in the snarling backlash I can look forward to a Republican President and a Republican Congress in 2004.

Go ahead. Make my day.

Oh, yes, about
(1) Bush gets elected after prolonged controversy;

(2) Nasdaq immediately begins slide to eighteen month lows.

And the republicans say there is no connection?
