Well, in some instances it is a superstitious attachment to the "popular will". Since, in a close election like this, with numerous alleged irregularities, "undervotes" nationwide, and so forth, there is no way to be certain of knowing the popular will, it is idle to count the votes to the last farthing, especially when the method of recount raises new questions. Thus, whatever mechanism there is to bring things to a reasonable conclusion is correct, and should be followed. The Supreme Court came, I think, to the proper conclusion, and ended the matter......

The only things sore and sour are the feet and tongues of the republicans when this recession builds steam..........watch out below......shades of old man Bush. NASDAQ down 150 and Dow down 200 today.......what does that tell you?
