Chic I am sitting here 100% cash for the most part and just seeing some that fundamentally are getting where I KNOW they are worth certain prices. I am only picking a select few that I will feel very comfortable with owning at those prices.

Just like IP. When I bought IP at 26 ish I did not have to do much FA analysis. I looked and it was trading at 1993 prices and I said "Monty this company just HAS to be worth what it was in 1993" :_)

So I bought some. I bought GLM at 7ish when no one wanted os stocks because oil was going away as a commodity. XOM at 70 etc. When you can buy stocks at those prices you may have dead money for a while but you don't have to worry about doing a lot of calculating. :-)

Well that is what I am doing with my price targets on some of these. If they blow thru my targets and I get filled I will KNOW I made a good deal even though it will take others a while to figure it out.

Well I cancelled my GTC orders but I may have made a couple of fool plays today. :-)

Probably get stopped out and have to regroup. VBG

Just now re reading my Jessie Livermore rules to remind myself.

"One should never permit speculative ventures to run into investments."

and

"Never buy a stock because it has had a big decline from its previous high."

and

"Of course, if a man is both wise and lucky, he will not make the same mistake twice. But he will make any one of the ten thousand brothers and cousins of the original. The MISTAKE family is so large that there is always one of them around when you want to see what you can do in the fool-play line."
