The liquidity is coming in already from the debt markets, but it's only helping defensive issues at the moment.

THe analyst community is painting a very bleak pricture, couched with the commonly-used "absence of near-term catalyst" phrase. It all depends on the real dimentions of this slowdown in IT and no one has a handle on it yet, so the analysts are in CYA mode.

The central point of my investment strategy is unchanged. Bet on the Internet big-time because of the productivity it provides. Fed tightening cycles will come and go, but the person who bought EMC, Dell, Intel, Cisco or Microsoft ten years ago and kept the shares through the ensuing tech wrecks have no complaints, and few peers.
