Tommaso - NG in storage.

I think we're far more likely to see spot shortages nationwide as early as late Feb, mid March. I'm very worried about what any shortage will do to an already weak economy/stock market. 0 does not equal 0 since a certain amount of pressure must be maintained in the pipes. Nobody really knows the lowest operational levels possible.

Hence my keen interest in gold, along with the many other reasons cited on this board by Slider and others. Currently about 50% gold, 25% small cap natural gas plays and 25% cash.

Was listening to the weather last night. They talked about how all the snow may create a re-inforcing cold pattern that we never quite shake off till winter is over. It's certainly shaping up to be a cold one.

Tommaso--the Independent Petroleum Association just projected only a 1.5% increase in NG production in 2001.They also projected consumption increases more than double that and said imports would have to make up the difference-Frank
