You're not "particularly a big fan of GWB", but you're more than willing to blame everything on Al Gore, when things look bad. Forgive me for finding your peculiar mix of politics and forward and backward looking analysis suspect. You can't even get in a token denial of sucking up to W without more gratuitous Gore bashing. Somehow, it looks reflexive.

Some here were right, saying the election rally wouldn't hold. I was wrong about that. Wishful thinking I suppose.

Jim,

We never had a rally...what we were saying here is that the lack of a rally had nada to do with the election strife. And that has proven to be true. It seemed that only those who voted for Bush felt that way.

BTW a rally is not a one day or two day phenomena...it extends over a period of weeks. Since Sept, all the Naz has had are bear rallies that are not real rallies but one day affairs where the markets go up a couple of hundred points.
