man I got cut by some knives today, finally gave up, if the naz futures can go up over 200 in a day as they did twice a few weeks ago, then -200 seems logical. now I know how those shorts felt during the momentum era.

maybe there will be a buying opp soon, say late december as people position for a January Effect and tax loss selling ceases. but the game has changed (about 9 months ago) look at all the value funds up almost 50%, Phillip Morris doubled.

i plan on finding some tech stocks that fall in the "baby with the bath water" category. Stocks I liked for fundamental reasons at 2-4 times current prices.

My first suggestion is Audiovoxx (if I liked it at 17...) P/e of 5, price to book of .59 price to sales of .12. they have contracts for cell phones in many emerging markets, new deals to install video systems in cars next year and the company is buying back stock.

Anybody else know of 4 letter stocks with great fundamentals?

For the record...this has been my best year ever......but I take no solece in the fact so many of my friends have been crushed! This was not as expected and if you have any means of understanding think about those poor individual investors that HELD the net stocks or the tele-com.

This is turning out to be a very, very sad year and not for myself but my fellow trader that is not as experienced. Every long I have hedged with a short in another sector. For the record I have shorted .coms from 150 to 00, but it is still sad to see so much GLOOM!
