Neocon,

Glad you got a chance to see it. I was impressed that Scorsese "passed" on the opportunity to comment on films made after his career started. A wise move perhaps -vbg-

I really do like most of his films. There is that one scene in "Goodfellows" that has forever changed what I think of when I hear Eric Clapton's "Layla". Of course its not quite as strong as the association I now have for a certain song from "Reservoir Dogs" (the torture scene)-vbg-

I have only seen a couple of reviews on the Coen's film, but its usually a safe bet when it makes a bad list that there is some fire to go with that smoke. Coen films can be real hit-or-miss with the general public. I still think "Hudsucker" was a very funny film.

Oh the market! Easy come, and you know the rest. Its just money and we all will make more...just maybe not this year.

Blockbuster has the worst selection of classic films. They don't even stock any Chaplin films, except Attenbourgh's bio with Robert(I really need some drugs)Downey. A decent film IMO.

We are going to watch "Chicken Run" tonight. I have heard very good things about it, and am a big fan of Wallace and Grommit.
