ouch. try not to feel too bad about it...there will always be plenty of opportunity, both on the short and the long side. some stocks look quite bombed out by now, so i guess after the current panic is settling down we'll get another one of those hellacious bounces we know so well.
today declining to advancing vol. on the NAZ was 10:1...if not for the sentiment and cycle data, i'd be inclined to smell a bottom. in fact, i think a bottom of sorts is very close in time...price is another matter.

that's the way I felt in 98 -- when Greenie resuced the markets -- had great profits in that rapid decline -- loaded again on the bounce, but not nearly high enough and lost all my profits ...
