I am sure that Dubya will meet with the guy before he selects him for the post, don't you? Well probably. If only as a formality. Get to know him, interview him, stuff like that? Not necessarily. If Big Dick is running the show why waste O'Neil's time? Is he only supposed to appoint his friends? Of course not. But, it would be nice to know that he knew the man by reputation if not acquiantance...and neither/nor seems to be the case here. You have to remember that Georgie boy hasn't played in the Big Sand Box like many of the other boys and girls...even as Gov. of Texas.
