Quehubo007, These were plant specific profit data only, plants located within California that had been sold by incumbent utilities.

Well, guys/gals I'm still waiting for the "shoe to drop" in the NG arena. I already mentioned Prudhoe Bay gas reserves. Amerada Hess I believe is building a small LNG terminal in the Dominican Republic.

LNG can be shipped profitably from the Middle East from the giant ExxonMobil/Qatar facility for around $1.70/mcf; from Venezuela for around $3.13/mcf. You need LNG tankers of which there are no spare wordlwide- and they cost $260mm US each to build.

But the economics look to be "there" for some of these major projects....
