Retail sales were flat in October, down in November. Growth slowed to 2.4% last quarter. Earnings warnings have been relentless for months.

It's Clinton's recession, not W's, but W will have to clean it up anyway.

Nope. No one has yet proven that the market forces which have driven the NAZ and other indices lower are as a result of the election. There ae many other factors which seem much more relevant to me. Bush hasn't even taken office, his cabinet picks have not even been confirmed, etc. Where is the cause and effect? You haven't made a credible case. JLA
