Hey Jocko, SDWS at $10 (OT) Well, I’ve got the Christmas house lights up, the tree is set and trimmed, and presents all bought and wrapped. I got the harmonicas out and did some Christmas carols singing with my wife and son on guitars. But for some reason the Season’s Spirit seems hard won this year. Maybe it is because this time last year SDWS was at $10 Or maybe its because my mother in law is here for the holidays. She is going through the "change of life" so I am (at my wife’s urging) cutting her some slack. I know it has to be affecting me because I found myself singing "Santa Clause Is Coming To Town" like this: Oh the Bitch is gonna shout The Bitch is gonna cry The Bitch is gonna pout, I’m telling you why Menopause is coming to town Her emotional gyrations And whining really grate Doesn’t matter if your right or wrong You’ll be wrong, Make no mistake Oh the Bitch is gonna shout The Bitch is gonna cry The Bitch is gonna pout, I’m telling you why Menopause is coming to town !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was pitching hay yesterday and with every thrust of the pitchfork I would come up with another line of the song. After about 45 minutes of this I felt a lot better. Say like at the Christmas meal, if things get hard to take, perhaps I should mentally "pitch hay"! :-) Things are looking better already!
