Actually from the metaphysical principle of equivalence (one of my favorites!) it wouldn't matter from the net result's POV - groceries are in the cart. The informational state is equivalent. But those intermediate states are a bitch. In our "physical" world, it is easier to pick up groceries with my hand illusion than with the teleportation illusion. In other universes that may not be true. In fact in this universe under some circumstances it may not be true, if you believe some stories. Heck, in this universe it is easier to puncture my tires than yours. Now, I'm having problems with the axle god. I attribute it to me being in better shape and powering up hills that I used to have to walk up. Nah, it is the axle god...
