Since most hi-tech companies sell over 50% of their products overseas - should foreign buyers refuse to purchase American Technology products until the last of their own unemployed workers are hired by their own technology companies Siemens, Fujitsu, Alcatel?

This is such utter cockammie bullshit nonsense. Microsoft would not have been a success if it were not for foreign workers. period. INTC was started by immigrants. So was SUNW. So was YHOO. The web was invented by a foreigner who came to the US on an H1B and now has a green card. Half the Fiber Optic names that were doing well were started by Immigrants. The day morons like PMS and Dan Spillane get any more powerful, the same smart immigrants will go to canada or europe or australia. Other countries like Germany, Australia, Canada, Singapore etc are envious of the US policy and are now competing for these same smart people.
Idiots like PMS and Dan will scare away these smart people. I need to run my business - let me hire whoever I want.

Idiots like PMS and Dan need to realize that 65% of Microsoft's revenues come from OUTSIDE the US. It is a multinational. Get it ? Morons. Sheesh.

Well looks like I have two job offers on hot projects involving XML et. al--which compete directly with Microsoft products! In fact, both companies I have opportunities with are kinda anti-Microsoft. I am kinda pro-Microsoft, as most of you on SI know, so this will take a little adjustment.

I really knocked the socks off the interviewers at one of the companies. Makes me laugh when I think of how I was treated at the Microsoft interviews, in comparison. It also makes me think the Microsoft interview process is kinda broken.

But I did give a job at Microsoft a shot. I still need to tell the one Microsoft guy why I felt he was impolite.
