To put things in perspective - despite the drop so far, the S&P is now trading at a similar p/e as it did BEFORE the 1987 crash. Imo we will not see bottom until there is total capitulation in the market....most likely at levels much lower than current ones.

Hi GZ,

Well I guess we didn't get to 1250 on the S&P 500 in Y2K.(1254.07 close, but no cigar).

It's now Jan 1st but to me it feels like Nov 1st of Y2K.

Since the S&P 500 held 1325, do you think it will make another run at 1250 and then break to 950-980?
