ok, I thought you guys were discussing who and why would be buying ibm right now when it looks like they could easily fall on their face, and then it went from there....I am not aware of most of history of your thread and didn't come over to gloat about trades, was just trying to have a discussion. Never read that book, though "market wizards" and Lefevre's book are definitely great trading aids. You can use facts and look at the VIX to support your contentions, or the p/c ratios, or rydex, or you can gauge sentiment of the clowns on the boards and on tv, same difference more or less (to me) and they all point down... I also see a ton of call buying for example in all the gogo clown stocks so I will stay short until they give up doing that stuff because we ARE going back to more or less traditional ways of valuing stocks and that is the basis of my staying short. All IMO of course, I'll leave your thread now, good luck.
