I always thought "Victoria Gate, M.D." was some high-level Dell executive with the initials, "M.D.," or a high-level MSFT executive with the last name "Gates," having fun on SI. But wdik. <vbg>

I used to be a Dellhead too, ( in remission now), and I followed Voltaire, Greg M, and Uncle Frank into QCOM about 18 months ago. On the Dell thread, Victoria Gates' predictions (?) were hard to understand, hell, I just thought it was me.
