Recession, by the purely technical term of negative growth rates for two consecutive quarters, maybe not. Draconian contraction, positively. Remember when the democrats were crying about draconian cuts to the school lunch program when the republicans wanted to cut the rate of growth. Well slick willyomics combined with a senile greenspan have put the national economy in a downward tailspin. There is an easy fix. It should have started Tuesday, but the old fart is still divining inflation out of thin air. And the slickster has the nerve to say on national tv that the economy is still strong. Kind of like the definition of "is". Hopefully, greenspan will come to his senses and the gov't will cut taxes so the people can invest their money in businesses rather than the inefficient US government. My 1 1/2 hour wait in a line to get a replacement social security card while three gs clerks gabbed and took breaks has obviously clouded my opinion.knc
