Stage 3 will be a pop-up window that specifically allows you to get all of your SubjectMarks (bookmarked subjects) and PeopleMarks (bookmarked people) with one click."

I am hoping this is not some mini window, but a full size page. I still say BrowseMaster would be so simple and make many members very happy.

One point I should mention is that I can't imagine ever wanting all posts from all bookmarked peple, but I might easily want all posts from SI Bob ( just picking on Bob as an example ).

I can't tell from your description if that's what you intend or not.

CatLady,

I think the usability depends on how many people you have bookmarked. I have less than a dozen, and would normally want to read everyone's. However, for those with many, many PeopleMarks, selective reading is probably the best option.

Initially our plan was to allow you to grab all messages from PeopleMarks, but if you only wanted to read just Bob's (I can't understand why <g>), you'd mark his as "read" within the window.

Essentially, our plan is to allow you to do either with the default being to pull up all or most messages. We'll be tinkering with this while we're developing it, so we'll keep all types of uses in mind.

John

Not a good omen -

Mostly, Chief Executive Naveen Jain just repeated his mantra of "de-emphasizing" the company's consumer business, an area in which he doesn't see much growth potential.

Yesterday he went into slightly more detail, explaining that InfoSpace would not invest in growing its business-to-consumer sites like MetaCrawler and SiliconInvestor and instead focus on licensing the underlying technology to other businesses.
